The wall of a brick kiln at Maner in Patna collapsed heavily. 8 laborers were buried working in it. In a hurry, all the injured were taken out of the kiln and sent to the hospital. Of these, 4 women died. The condition of the other 4 is critical.

There was a stir in the area after the incident. There was a crowd of people around. Here, the police reached the spot as soon as the information was received. Maner police station in-charge Rajeev Ranjan said that information is being received about the death of 4 laborers during treatment. The laborers have been admitted to the local hospital. The case is being investigated. Some people are being questioned.

Local people say that on Monday morning, Lucky brick-kiln laborers at Byapur in Maner were engaged in the work of brick making. Suddenly the wall of the kiln collapsed. Hearing the loud noise, we reached the spot. 8 laborers were somehow taken out and taken to the hospital. Out of these, 4 women laborers died. The deceased women were identified as Shila Devi, a resident of Gaya, Dhurni Devi, Sugandhi Devi and Sitabi Devi, residents of Gumla in Jharkhand.

The Chief Minister gave instructions to provide estimated assistance

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has expressed grief over the incident. The Chief Minister has described the accident as extremely tragic and has expressed deep condolences to the families of those killed in the accident. The Chief Minister has directed the Labor Resources Department to provide all possible assistance to the families of the labourers.
