The bridge being built on the Sultanganj-Agwani Ganga river in Bhagalpur, Bihar collapsed for the third time. The part between number nine and ten from Bhagalpur side got submerged in the Ganga river. There is panic after the bridge accident for the third time in a row. This Mahasetu is being constructed by SP Singla Company. Let us tell you that this bridge being built in Sultanganj of Bhagalpur district is being built to connect Khagaria and Bhagalpur districts.
Here, after the part of the bridge collapsed, Bihar State Bridge Construction Corporation Limited has given clarification. A new design of the bridge is being made on the order of the High Court. Now the bridge will be constructed afresh at the cost of the contractor. It was said that the construction work of the bridge was stopped. The contractor has been ordered to remove all the parts being constructed on this technology. Meanwhile, the remaining part of the previously damaged part was being removed. It got damaged today due to the increase in water level and fast flow in the Ganga river. The construction work of this bridge has been stopped since the accident that happened last year.
