Today, the relationship between teachers and students has been shamed in Maharaja College under Veerkunwar Singh Vishwavidyalaya. The examiner was beaten up badly by the girl students for not allowing cheating in the exam, due to which the examiner got injured. The incident is of Veerkunwar Singh University, where the students of postgraduate (PG), semester third beat up the examiner with kicks and punches when he protested against malpractice at Maharaja College examination center. Due to this, the examiner Assistant Professor Dr. Shuchi Sneha got injured. She has injuries on her eyes, back, hands, neck. However, later after the teachers convinced her, the girl students went back to their rooms to give the exam.
The students attacked the invigilator as soon as they were stopped from cheating
The college’s examination controller Dr Sanjay Kumar said that the PG semester third, session 2022-24 examination is starting from Monday. The examination started at 10 am. When Dr Shuchi Sneha, who was present in the class as an examiner, stopped the students who were misbehaving with their mobile phones, the students started beating the examiner. According to eyewitnesses, the students pushed the examiner to the ground and started beating him fiercely with kicks and punches. Hearing the commotion, the teachers and staff who reached the spot saved him from the students. The angry students also reached the office creating a ruckus, from where they were sent back after being persuaded.
Police started investigation on the complaint of the principal
In this regard, the in-charge principal Prof. Alok Ranjan said that the police was informed about the incident by calling on 112. The police reached the spot as soon as the information was received. The principal has made a written complaint to the police. The examiner also has the mobile phone of the girl who assaulted the student, which the principal handed over to the police. The police say that Principal Prof. Alok Ranjan has informed about the incident, the matter is being investigated.
