The professor has written in red background that he appeals to both the governments to provide a homeland for Indian Muslims in the area adjacent to Pakistan-Bangladesh. He has called it the demand of Indian Muslims. Along with this, they also raised slogans of United Pakistan and Long live Bangladesh. The social media post is from two days ago, but there is an uproar now. With the uproar, both the posts are missing from Khurshid Alam’s social media account. The police have started investigating this matter.
Jaypee University sent notice to professor
It has been posted by Khurshid Alam, Assistant Professor of Narayan College located in Goriya Kothi block of Siwan, on his Facebook ID by writing United Pakistan and Bangladesh Zindabad.
Through the second post it is written that I am appealing both the Government and the Indian Muslims want a separate homeland at joining Pakistan and Bangladesh. Now this post is going viral rapidly. When this matter came to the notice of Jaypee University, a show cause notice has also been sent to Professor Khurshid Alam.
Professor said- I am firm on my post
Khurshid Alam, Assistant Professor of Political Science at Narayan College, said that yes I have posted this type of post. But there has been a demand to create a separate country by adding Pakistan and Bangladesh. I have not opposed India in this. Nor is there anything treasonous about it. In the matter of show cause also, the professor said that he has been shown cause by the university. I will answer this on Monday. The professor said that my posting did not mean to hurt anyone’s sentiments. If anyone’s sentiments have been hurt, I apologize. But my post is absolutely correct and I stand by it.
