The Goh police station of Aurangabad, Bihar has arrested a hardcore Naxalite who was absconding for 14 years. The police was actively looking for him in about half a dozen cases. The arrested Naxalite Raviranjan Paswan alias Uday alias Awadhesh Paswan is a resident of Hasanpur village of Goh police station.
The special police team caught him from his home
Daundnagar’s subdivisional police officer Kumar Rishi Raj gave information about the case in a press conference. He said that the police received secret information that Raviranjan Paswan alias Uday alias Awadhesh Paswan, a wanted Naxalite who was absconding for 14 years and involved in many cases, has come to his village Hasanpur. Based on this information, a special police team was formed under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Swapna Gautam Meshram on her instructions. After that, the team took immediate action and caught the Naxalite from his house.

He told that about half a dozen cases are registered against the arrested Naxalite in various police stations of Aurangabad. The police was searching for him vigorously in these cases. Now finally the police got success in arresting him. Case number-20/10, 84/10, 04/11 in Goh police station, case number-45/10 in Uphaara police station and case number-316/20 in Rafiganj police station are registered against the arrested Naxalite under UAPA, 17 CLA, Arms Act and other relevant sections.

The special police team that arrested the hardcore Naxalite after conducting the raid included Goh police station in-charge Kamlesh Paswan, constable Bambam Kumar Yadav, Prabhat Kumar, Manjur Alam, Vimlesh Kumar Singh, Ramashish Paswan, Rakesh Kumar, driver constable Vikas Kumar, watchman Jitendra Kumar and Mehboob Ansari.
