A person was shot dead last night in Pakri village of Salaiya police station area of Imamganj police sub-division area of Gaya, Bihar. The deceased has been identified as Ashok Yadav (45), resident of Pakri village. If rural sources are to be believed, the said person was murdered over a land dispute or infighting. Salaiya police station, which reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, took the body into its custody and sent it to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College cum Hospital for post-mortem.
Imamganj DSP Amit Kumar said that a person has been shot dead in Pakri village of Salaiya police station area. He said that in the police investigation, prima facie the reason behind the murder is being said to be a land dispute. At present no application has been received. Still the police is investigating. It will be revealed soon.
However, according to the villagers, this case of murder is suspicious. Both father and son were sleeping in the same room. During this time, the criminals shot the father dead, but the deceased’s son did not even know about it. This matter has become a topic of discussion among the villagers.
