Late Thursday night in Shekhpura district, a vegetable businessman was brutally murdered by criminals by stabbing him with a knife. The deceased has been identified as Natu Sao, resident of Jamalpur Mohalla. After the murder, the criminals threw the body near a water tank at some distance from the locality, which created a sensation in the area.

The wife of the deceased told that Natu Saav had gone to Chandni Chowk market to sell vegetables like every day. He did not return home till nine o’clock at night. After that his wife called several times on his mobile, but got no response. Family members and local people kept searching for him, but there was no trace of Natu Sav. Then on Friday morning his dead body was found near the water tank.

According to the information, about two dozen knife wounds were found on the body of the deceased. The murder was done so brutally that deep knife wounds were found on many parts of the body including head, neck, back, shoulders. The deceased was the father of three children and his family says that he had no quarrel with anyone.

As soon as information about the incident was received, SDPO Arvind Kumar Sinha, City Police Station President Dharmendra Kumar and other police officers reached the spot. The body was sent to Sadar Hospital Sheikhpura for post-mortem. SDPO Arvind Kumar Sinha said that the deceased was murdered very brutally and at present the reasons for the murder are not known. Police have started investigating the matter and will soon register an FIR and take further action.
