The court of District and Session Judge Vinod Kumar Tiwari of Darbhanga Civil Court of Bihar has extended the stay on the arrest of 21 accused till June 18 and transferred them to the court of First Session Judge Ramakant. This case is related to the case of freeing fake voters by attacking Kamtaul police station during the election for Madhubani Lok Sabha seat in Darbhanga.
According to the information, three people including two women voters were arrested in the case of fake voting at Devra Bandhauli booth number 85 of Jale assembly constituency in the fifth phase of Madhubani Lok Sabha elections. After the arrest, all three were brought to Kamtaul police station and kept there. During this time, between 9 and 10 pm, 130 to 140 people attacked Kamtaul police station and took away the three accused with them.
Then the police had lodged an FIR against 130 to 140 unknown people including 24 named accused in this case. Darbhanga police has so far arrested three accused in this case and sent them to jail. Now the hearing on this case is going on in the court and during the hearing, the court has banned the arrest of the remaining 21 named accused till June 18.
According to the information, in the Darbhanga Civil Court, the anticipatory bail petition number 690/24 of Parvez Alam’s son Sanaullah, Md. Hasan’s daughter Sadiya Sheikh and Md. Izhar’s daughter Zeenat Parveen in Jaale police station case number 103/2024 and the anticipatory bail petition number 691/24 of these three in Jaale police station case number 104/24 is to be heard on June 18.
At the same time, hearing is scheduled on anticipatory bail petition number 692/24 on behalf of accused Mohammad Iftikhar, Mohammad Ali, Mohammad Safiullah, Mohammad Shadab, Mohammad Karanan Alam, Khadim Hussain, Mujtawa alias Arzoo, Tapsir Imam alias Rizvi, Tariq Anwar, Mohammad Hussain, Iwadullah Faizi, Mohammad Riyaz Hussain, Saifuddin, Mohammad Zubair, Mohammad Umer, Javed Iqbal RC alias RC Iqbal, Faisal Ashraf alias Mohd. Faisal and Nisar Qureshi of Jaale police station case 104/24.
