The body of a woman who was missing since September 3 was found in the village pond. The news of the body being found spread like wildfire in the village. A crowd of villagers gathered to see the body. The local Panchayat Samiti member Neeraj Sah informed the police of the local Masrakh police station and called them. The villagers took out the body from the pond in the presence of the police. The body was identified as Shanti Kunwar, 64-year-old wife of late Ramchandra Prasad, a retired teacher, resident of Karna Kudaria village of Masrakh police station area.
