Bihar: Ed-it action a day before the meeting of opposition parties, raid on minister’s relative and close to Cm Nitish

Relatives of state government minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, in Begusarai, Bihar, a day ahead of a meeting of opposition parties to announce the overthrow of the BJP government at the Center led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in Patna on June 23. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Income Tax (IT) raided the locations of the businessman considered close to him.

Raids happening in Begusarai

Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Income Tax (IT) team raided the house of industrialist Ajay Kumar Singh alias Karon Singh in Begusarai. This raid is being done in Vishwanath Nagar locality of Nagar police station area, due to which there has been a stir in the locality. Local people say that ED and Income Tax officials have arrived at around 6:00 in the morning. The officials are refusing to say anything in this regard right now. During this, the police have laid siege from both sides.

Who is Ajay Singh alias Karu Singh

Ajay Singh alias Karu Singh is the brother-in-law of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s close minister Vijay Chowdhary, whose residence has been raided by the ED and Income Tax. Local people say that builder Karu Singh is also close to JDU national president Lalan Singh. The team of ED and Income Tax has reached to raid with 7 vehicles. It is being told that another hideout is being raided.

Raids going on at other locations as well

According to the information, raids are also being conducted in the godown of rods located in Phulwaria of Phulwaria police station area. At present, there is strict deployment of security personnel at the main gate, due to which neither anyone is allowed to enter nor anyone is being allowed to exit.
