As much as the Education Department is alert about the education of students in schools, it is also paying equal attention to the teachers. The department believes that if teachers study children diligently, then it is the responsibility of the government to pay them their salaries on time, but due to the negligence of the district education officers, there is a lot of delay in the salaries of teachers in some districts. Because of this, teachers have complained about this to the department. As a result of this, the Education Department has recommended action against the District Education Officers of 5 districts of Bihar.
Action has been taken against the District Education Officer of these districts
The department says that the District Education Officers of many districts are continuously being negligent in paying the salaries/honorarium of the employees. He is being repeatedly instructed regarding this matter but he is not desisting from his habits. Those districts include Banka, Jamui, Patna, Saharsa and Siwan districts, where the District Education Officers are continuously flouting the orders of the department. The Education Department has held the DEOs of these districts responsible for teachers not receiving salaries. The Additional Secretary of the department has recommended departmental action against all these district education officers. Additional Secretary Sanjay Kumar has written a letter to the Director of Administration in this regard asking the department to take immediate action against the district education officials.

Additional Secretary Sanjay Kumar, writing a letter against the District Education Officer, has said that a review was conducted again in the meeting held on 15th, in which it was found that the honorarium payment of school assistant, school attendant and Aadhaar operator in Saharsa and Siwan is no longer being paid. Has not been done yet. Similarly, honorarium of BPMU in Banka has not been paid. In Jamui also, honorarium of BPMU and honorarium of Aadhaar update operator was not paid. What’s more, in Patna district also the honorarium of BPMU and honorarium of Aadhaar operator was not paid. When asked, everyone held the District Education Officer responsible for this. In this situation, action will be taken against the district education officers of all these districts. He said that all the District Education Officers are repeatedly instructed to pay the salary/honorarium of all the employees in the first week of every month, but they are not listening. He clearly said that this arbitrariness of education officials will not go away, now action will be taken against them.
