Chamki fever seen again in Muzaffarpur, SKMCH alert
Chamki fever (AES) has been confirmed in a child admitted to SKMCH. The child is said to be Vaishali’s. This number of cases has increased to 7 in SKMCH. Doctors say that hypoglycemia has been reported to be the cause of Chamki fever in a 5 year old child of Vaishali district. So far, 3 cases in the district have come from Muzaffarpur, 4 from Sitamarhi, Shivhar and Vaishali districts.

Voting is to be held on April 26 for the Lok Sabha seat in Bihar which has four sitting MPs of the ruling Janata Dal United and the only one sitting MP of the Congress. On Wednesday evening, the election campaign will come to an end in Kishanganj seat which was held by Congress along with Bhagalpur, Banka, Purnia and Katihar seats which have sitting MPs of JDU. Of these, there is a face-to-face contest between the National Democratic Alliance and the Grand Alliance in Bhagalpur, Banka and Katihar. The contest is triangular in Kishanganj due to Asaduddin Owaisi’s party and Congress leader Pappu Yadav who is contesting as an independent in Purnia. Amidst such circumstances, all the leaders are putting in all their strength before the end of the election campaign period. Home Minister and former BJP national president Amit Shah will also be in Bihar on Wednesday to contest these seats.
