Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department KK Pathak is going on central deputation but has directly clashed with him from Apna Raj Bhavan. The Education Department has lodged an FIR against the Vice Chancellor, Registrar and Controller of Examinations of Darbhanga and Madhepura (BNMU) University. It is alleged that all these officers did not attend the meeting called by KK Pathak on 28 February. The Vice Chancellor, Registrar and Controller of Examinations of the University were not allowed to go towards Raj Bhavan. After this this university official did not attend the meeting. The Education Department first stopped the salaries of these officers. Not only this, the bank accounts of these people were also frozen.

Information was received on Sunday evening that an FIR has been lodged in the University police station by Darbhanga District Education Officer Samar Bahadur Singh against the Vice Chancellor, Registrar and Controller of Examinations of Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga. Confirming this, SSP Jagunath Reddy said that an application has been given by the District Education Officer to register an FIR. On which he has instructed the concerned police station to investigate and take action. Let us tell you that a letter was sent to University Vice Chancellor Sanjay Kumar Chaudhary, Registrar Ajay Kumar Pandit and Examination Controller Vinod Kumar Ojha by former Additional Education Secretary KK Pathak regarding attending the meeting in Patna. In which these officers had distanced themselves from the meeting in violation of the instructions of the Additional Education Secretary. Regarding this, the department had frozen the salaries of these officers and now the department has taken a strict stance and ordered to register an FIR directly.

Application given to register FIR against them

The District Education Officer has filed an application at the University police station to register an FIR against Lalit Narayan Mithla University Vice Chancellor Prof. Sanjay Kumar Choudhary, Registrar Ajay Pandit and Examination Controller Vinod Kumar Ojha. An application has been made to take action regarding ignoring several cases including violation of the Examination Act 1976. Whereas the Vice Chancellor of BNMU (Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University), Prof. Bimalendu Shekhar Jha, Registrar Dr. Mihir Kumar Thakur, Controller of Examinations Dr. Shashibhushan did not attend. It was told that in violation of sections 120B, 166, 166A, 174, 175, 176, 176, 179 and 187 of the Indian Penal Code 1860, the official work related to the examination matter of universities was deliberately disrupted, which is illegal. An FIR was registered against these three making this allegation.

The meeting was called to discuss the issue of regularizing the pending academic session.

University Police Station Head Sudhir Kumar has informed senior officials about this. Further action will be taken as per the order, on February 28, the Education Department had called a meeting of all the universities. The Vice Chancellor, Registrar and Controller of Examinations were asked to participate in this. It was said that the issue of regularizing the pending academic session will be discussed in the meeting. The Education Department had said in its letter that it is the responsibility of the state government to conduct the examinations on time and regularize the sessions in the universities. The government is capable of deciding the examination calendar in the universities. In such a situation, the process of action has been started against students being absent from the meeting called on an important issue related to interest.
