A fire suddenly broke out in Gopalpur village of Mohammadpur police station area of Gopalganj district of Bihar on Tuesday afternoon, in which two hut-like houses were burnt to ashes. At the same time, two real brothers and sisters died in this incident. Regarding the incident, the victim told that disabled Brijesh Mahato works as a laborer to support his family. Had gone to work as usual. Meanwhile, suddenly his hut-like house caught fire.
The victim told that two children were sleeping in the adjacent house with asbestos roof. After the fire, local people started helping to control the fire. Meanwhile, the fire also engulfed the house of Arvind Mahato and the asbestos house of Brijesh Mahato, in which children were sleeping.
At the same time, when the children woke up after seeing the burning house, they hid under the bed out of fear. Meanwhile, the house collapsed on them, crushing the children and dying on the spot. After this incident there was an outcry on the spot. The fire was controlled with the help of local people, otherwise the fire could have spread to more houses. At the same time, on receiving information, fire brigade vehicle also reached the spot. But even before this the local people had controlled the fire.
According to the information, the two innocent children who died heartbreakingly in this incident include Ishani (5) and Kuldeep (2). Both the deceased are children of Brijesh Mahato. The victim’s family says that the fire was caused by a short circuit, in which all the household items including a goat were burnt to ashes. However, Mohammadpur police reached the spot and took the bodies of the dead children into their custody and sent them to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. After that the police started investigating the case.
