The victim’s family says that the fire was caused by a short circuit, in which all the household items including a goat were burnt to ashes. However, Mohammadpur police reached the spot and took the bodies of the dead children into their custody and sent them to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. After that the police started investigating the case.
