Several acres of fields caught fire due to a spark emanating from an electrical short circuit in the ready crop of wheat in Belwadi Chanwar of Mahnar police station area of ​​Vaishali district of Bihar. The local people informed the local police officer about the incident. After that the fire brigade was informed about the incident by the police. Then the fire brigade reached the spot and along with the local farmers, brought the fire under control with great effort.

Farmers have said that the cause of the fire was electrical short circuit. However, some people have reported smoking beedis and throwing them in the field. The victim farmer told that he had taken a loan and grown the wheat crop. But the farmer has suffered financial loss due to the sudden fire. In this regard, the farmer has demanded compensation from the local administration.
