Student injured by bullet being treated in hospital

Two groups of students clashed with each other in Nalanda, Bihar on Tuesday. After the fight, there was a firing incident, in which a student was injured by the bullet. The matter pertains to the field of JP College located at Golapar under Deepnagar police station area. The injured is Rohit Kumar (20), son of Bablu Kumar alias Gullu Yadav, resident of Imadpur Mohalla of Chhatra Nagar police station area. Rohit is a B.Pharma student at JP College and is studying in semester two.
Injured student Rohit Kumar told that two groups of students were fighting among themselves in the college field. Seeing those people, he sat on the bike with his companion from a distance of about 100-200 meters and started going on the main road. Meanwhile, three rounds of firing took place, one of which hit his leg. After this, he along with his friend reached Sadar Hospital on bike and informed his family about the incident.
According to the information, Sandeep Kumar, resident of Darkha village of Lachuad police station area of Jamui district, is a student of B. Pharma in JP College. Sandeep told that he had got his admission in JP College through Nitish Kumar. A student named Vikas Kumar contacted him that he also wanted to get admission in JP College. After this he introduced him to Nitish Kumar. The entire process was completed and Rs 70 thousand was taken for admission. When Vikas was given a receipt of Rs 40 thousand instead of Rs 70 thousand by Nitish, he became furious.
The student told that he was not able to find Nitish, so he targeted Sandeep. When Sandeep came out of the college to the campus after giving the exam, Vikas surrounded him with his colleagues. First they beat him up and then opened fire. He was saved due to misfire and the bullet hit Rohit. After this all the miscreants fled from the spot. It is being told that Nitish works for getting admission in the college by taking commission. Sandeep was also lured that if he gets more students admitted, Nitish will give him commission as well.
At the same time, Deepnagar police station incharge Narad Muni said that after receiving information about the incident, the police has started investigating the matter. The injured youth has been admitted to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for treatment. Based on the statement of the injured, the police has started taking further action. There was a fight and firing incident between two groups of students.
