Expansion

The introduction of Vande Bharat Express trains started a new race of modernity in Indian Railways. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and semi-high speed Vande Bharat was greatly appreciated by the people, but the expensive fare of Vande Bharat Express made this modern experiment of Indian Railways difficult for the people of lower income group. Keeping in view this need of the common people of the country, Indian Railways is going to take a new initiative and after Vande Bharat Amrit Bharat Express Trains are going to start.

Vande Bharat like facilities in Amrit Bharat train

In this train with 22 bogies, instead of AC coaches, all the coaches are sleeper and general. But the facilities are as modern as Vande Bharat. Train bogies equipped with CCTV cameras, state-of-the-art toilets, guards with sensor water taps in the bogies and announcement system on the lines of metro will be provided in this new train.

There is a plan to keep the fare of semi-high speed Amrit Bharat Express equipped with the same modern facilities as the Vande Bharat train, lower than the normal trains, so that the general public of the country can take advantage of the modern facilities of the Railways.

Amrit Bharat Express Train Route

The country’s first Amrit Bharat Express will start from Bihar. This train will be started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
