The deceased have been identified as Sonhal Devi (60), wife of Ram Avtar Singh, resident of Chhakkan Bigha village of Barun police station area, Jaitri Devi, wife of Vinay Pal, resident of Rediya village, Mahesh Prasad (40), son of Rajgir Mahato, resident of Pirwan village of Madanpur police station area and Indravati Devi (55), wife of Ramdahin Paswan, resident of Khajuri Mahesh village of Tandwa police station area.

According to the family members, it started raining heavily while they were returning home after planting paddy in the field. Also, lightning started striking. During this time, these four died on the spot after being struck by lightning. Some of the burnt people were treated at the Community Health Center in Barun. At present, their condition is said to be out of danger. Here, on receiving the information, the police reached the spot and took the bodies into custody and brought them to Aurangabad Sadar Hospital for post-mortem late at night. After the accident, there is chaos in the family of the deceased. The family members are in a bad condition due to crying.
