Seeing the terrible form of the Harohar river, the people living on its banks are scared. The river water has started entering people’s houses. Water is flowing on the roads near Alapur village. Due to this, the frightened villagers have been forced to go to safer places with their animals. Lines of worry are clearly visible on their faces due to water entering the houses and drowning of crops. Due to the rise in the water level of the Harohar river in many areas of Panapur, Dehkusumbha, Bhadosi, Mafo, Gagaur Panchayat of Ghatkusumbha block, water has entered the lower parts of Akarpur, Gadbadiya, Sujawalpur, Panapur, Pranpur, Jitparpur, Mohammadpur, Harnamchak, Alapur, Bataura, Murbaria, Sahara, Gurera, Ghatkusumbha, Koyla, Baunghat villages. Crops like paddy, maize, pigeon pea planted by the farmers have started drowning in the water. The water level of the Harohar river is increasing. It is feared that by late night many villages will be cut off from the headquarters.

Along with Gadbadiya, Sujawalpur, Akarpur, all the villages of Panapur Panchayat are surrounded by water from all sides. Due to this, the situation may worsen in Panapur Panchayat, the lowest area of Ghatkusumbha block. Panapur farmer and social worker Shahid Paswan said that due to water coming from the river sources, the road to the scheduled tola of Panapur village has been closed. Due to the river water coming on this road, more than 50 families have to take an alternate route. Due to the rise in water in the river, water has started entering the maize crops in the fields on the river bank. Due to the rise in water from below in the Harohar river, this situation is the same from the lower area Panapur to the upper Koyla, Gadbadiya, Ghatkusumbha, Sujawalpur.
