Lalu family seems to be surrounded in the Chapra firing case. On Thursday, Bihar’s special team reached Rabri residence. It was alleged that during voting, Rohini Acharya was roaming with the bodyguards of former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi. Deputy CM Samrat Chaudhary also appealed for investigation of this matter. After this, the special team reached Lalu’s residence and investigated the whole matter there. After this, the bodyguards and policemen present there were questioned in the whole matter.

Here, a case of violation of model code of conduct has been registered by the circle officer of Chhapra Sadar circle against RJD’s star campaigner cum RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s close friend Bhola Yadav. The allegation against Bhola Yadav is that he is not a voter of Saran Lok Sabha parliamentary constituency, due to which he should have gone out of this constituency after the evening of 18th May, but even on the election day, he remained with Rohini Acharya, the candidate made by RJD. He was seen roaming around in the candidate’s car on the day of voting i.e. 20th May.

Let us tell you that Bhola Yadav was also touring with RJD candidate Rohini Acharya at polling station number 18 and 19 located at Bhikari Chowk in Nagar police station area. In this case, Manoj Kumar, representative of BJP candidate Rajiv Pratap Rudy, through an online application, has lodged an FIR in the city police station against RJD candidate Rohini Acharya and Bhola Yadav along with 50 unknown people including RJD supporters, accusing them of abusing and assaulting BJP polling agent Sunil Kumar Singh and BJP worker Satyendra Singh on May 20, 2024 for committing fake voting and protesting at polling station number 318 and 19 of Chhapra assembly constituency.

Seven election related cases have been registered

However, in this regard, Saran District Magistrate Aman Sameer and Superintendent of Police Dr. Gaurav Mangal jointly informed that seven cases related to the elections have been registered on 20 and 21 May 2014. In which star campaigner Bhola Yadav, seven cases including murder in the firing at Bhikhari Chowk are involved. On the late evening of May 22, 2024, RJD’s star campaigner Bhola Yadav, while giving clarification in a press conference at the Chapra residence of former minister cum RJD MLA from Marhaura in Saran, had said that on the day of voting, it was based on the pass issued by the returning officer. Had talked about hanging out with RJD candidate Rohini Acharya.

A check of Rs 10 lakh was given by RJD

On the other hand, on the second day of the election, during a violent clash between BJP and RJD workers at Bhikhari Thakur Chowk in the morning, one person died on the spot and two others were seriously injured. After the death of 26-year-old Chandan Kumar, son of Telpa resident Nagendra Rai, RJD gave a cheque of Rs 10 lakh and the injured were given cheques of Rs 2 lakh each. Regarding this matter, District Magistrate Aman Sameer said that prima facie it is a case of Model Code of Conduct. Action will be taken after investigation.
