Liquor smugglers have invented a new way to deliver the liquor consignment. Smugglers are now smuggling liquor by making cellars in places like the back light of the car, under the seat. Muzaffarpur police has arrested four smugglers, disclosing this method of liquor smugglers, from whom a total of 119.340 liters of liquor has been recovered. This arrest was made by the police of Gaighat police station from Baburbanni Chowk. In this regard, Police Station President Ajay Kumar Paswan told that vehicle checking was being done near Baburbanni Chowk. Just then a car without number plate was coming from Muzaffarpur towards Darbhanga. The police signaled him to stop but the car driver increased the speed of the vehicle. The police realized this and before those people could run away, the police chased and surrounded the car.

Car did not have registration number, engine number and chassis number

During the investigation, the police found that the car is Tata Indigo ECS which looks like a junk. The car was found without registration number, without engine number and without chassis number. On strict enquiry, the occupants of the car said that there was liquor in the car. On his instance, a search was conducted behind the backlight and under the seat of the car, in which a total of 119.340 liters of liquor was recovered. The police immediately arrested the four smugglers who have been identified as Mo Qadir, Kripa Yadav, Tanveer Alam and Gamha Yadav, residents of Prithvipur village under Vishanpur police station area under Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh. During interrogation by the police, the accused told that these liquors are manufactured in UP and were being taken from UP to Darbhanga.
