A microfinance worker injured in a road accident in Bettiah has died during treatment at GMCH Bettiah. The incident took place last Wednesday near Nanosati Chowk on Motihari National Highway in Bettiah district.

The deceased has been identified as Chandan Kumar, 20, son of America Sah, resident of South Telua Ward No. 4 of Nautan police station area. Here, the police reached the spot after receiving information about the incident, conducted postmortem of the body and handed it over to the family members. It is said that the youth was present at Nanosati Chowk on Bettiah Motihari National Highway last Wednesday. Suddenly he got injured after being hit by a truck.
The local people immediately admitted him to GMCH Bettiah for treatment. Where he was undergoing treatment. However, he died during treatment on Thursday evening. The deceased is becoming unconscious after repeatedly punching her in the chest and is screaming for her son.
