Murdered for not giving bike

The deceased is the daughter of private teacher Vipin Thakur, a resident of Berai village of Hathori police station area. As soon as the incident was reported, the deceased’s mother Bhagwati Devi and her father Vipin Thakur, who arrived from her maternal home, accused the in-laws and said that they married their daughter on May 7 last year with Ramdev Manjhi, a resident of Amnaur village, with great fanfare. Was. But after marriage, they started torturing my daughter for the bike. These people also used to fight with my daughter for giving me the bike. We had also explained this to the people around us several times, but they were not ready to accept it. There was a continuous demand for bikes by these people. Because of this, these people strangled my daughter Lakshmi to death. The family says that these people killed my daughter and hanged her body. The family told the police that the rope mark was clearly visible around my daughter’s neck.

Police engaged in investigation

The maternal uncle informed the police of Aurai police station about the incident. As soon as the incident was reported, the local police reached the spot and sent the body to SKMCH for postmortem. In relation to the incident, Aurai Police Station President Rupak Kumar told that after the incident all the people of the in-laws side are absconding leaving the house. The police is probing the matter.
