A sensational case has come to light in Nalanda. A young man was murdered and his body was buried in the bathroom. The case is of Indaut village under Hilsa police station area. The deceased has been identified as Santosh Kumar (40), son of Satyendra Prasad, resident of Damodar village of Chiksaura police station area. The young man was missing since the night of September 15. He used to work in decoration.
In this case, deceased Santosh’s brother Rakesh Patel told that Vikku Chaudhary, a resident of Maranchi village of Chiksaura police station area, came to Santosh Kumar for negotiation saying that there is a Puja and wedding in the house. After this, the negotiation was finalized. Decoration material was loaded on the car. After this, it was evening. Vikku Chaudhary said to deliver all the material to his maternal uncle-in-law’s house in Indaut of Hilsa. Santosh reached Indaut village with his son Rohit carrying decoration material.
After killing the father, he tried to kill the son as well
Rakesh Patel said that Santosh’s son Rohit Kumar (11) also reached Indaut village with him on the evening of 15 September carrying decoration material. Since it was night, both father and son ate dinner and slept in Jaglal Chaudhary’s house. When morning came, Santosh Kumar was missing. Rohit searched for him and Vikku Chaudhary told him that his father had gone to Ekangarasrai for collection. When Santosh Chaudhary did not return even after noon, Rohit became anxious. He then asked Vikku Chaudhary why his father had not come yet. To this, Vikku Chaudhary said that his father was drinking outside, let’s introduce him. Rohit was taken outside the village and beaten up and all his clothes were removed. Not only this, they also tried to kill him by strangulating him. When Rohit became unconscious, Vikku Chaudhary thought he was dead and threw him in the bushes and ran away from there.
Rohit asked for help from an unknown person
Rakesh Patel said that after a while when Rohit regained consciousness, he ran away from there and reached the road outside the village. Then Rohit asked for help from an unknown person and he told that he has been beaten up. He should be saved. The unknown person took off his towel and gave it to Rohit and informed the Dial 112 police about the incident. After this the police came and started investigating.
Buried the corpse in the bathroom of his house
Here, on the basis of Rohit’s statement, the police caught the accused Vikku Chaudhary and he started talking about irrelevant things. When he was questioned strictly, he confessed his crime. He said that he had a quarrel with Santosh. In anger, he killed Santosh by hitting him on the head with a rod and buried the body in the bathroom of his house.
Fear of murder in the process of digesting the goods
The family members say that they had no previous contact with Vikku Chaudhary, nor did they have any enmity. Probably the murder was committed in a planned manner to steal the decoration material. The entire decoration material is worth about three lakh rupees. However, the decoration material has been recovered. Police say that the accused has been arrested in this case. He is being questioned. The body has been sent for post-mortem. Further action is being taken in the case.
