Saharsa News: A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Ismail Santhali Tola of Musahari Panchayat under Basnahi police station area of Saharsa. Where a 50-year-old man was brutally murdered late on Friday night. The criminals cut off both the legs of the man and burnt the body. After the body was found on Saturday morning, it could not even be identified. However, after extensive investigation at the spot, police found a mobile phone, following which the deceased was identified as Jetha Tudu, son of Devan Tudu, resident of Izmail Santhali Tola Ward 6.

Here, the news of recovery of the dead body spread sensation in the area. There was mourning in the house of the deceased. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the police immediately called the FSL team to the spot. Where after investigation the body was taken into custody and sent to Bhagalpur for post-mortem. Started investigating the same case. SP Himanshu Kumar also took stock of the incident site and gave necessary instructions to the officials. Apart from this, he met the family members of the deceased and took necessary information. SP said that SIT has been formed under the leadership of Simri Bakhtiyarpur SDPO Mukesh Kumar Thakur to investigate the incident. At present one person is being detained and interrogated. Investigation is continuing on other points also.
Dead body found on unpaved road just 200 meters away from home
According to the relatives of the deceased, Jetha Tudu had left the house on a bike with Laxman Yadav, a resident of Basnahi village, in connection with money transaction at around 2 pm on Friday afternoon. But after this he did not return home. He had also gone with Laxman on 19th December to withdraw money. On Saturday morning, Jetha’s body was found in a half-burnt condition on an unpaved road, about two hundred meters away from the house. The villagers gathered at the spot informed this to Basnahi police station. After which the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter.

Information regarding the incident was shared by Saharsa Police late in the evening. In which it was told that on the information of the incident, immediately on the instructions of SP Himanshu Kumar, Simri Bakhtiyarpur SDPO, Circle Inspector along with Basnahi and Sonvarsharaj Police Station Head were sent to the spot. Police identified the deceased from the mobile phone recovered from the spot. The SP along with the FSL team also took stock of the incident site. The SIT formed under the leadership of Simri Bakhtiyarpur SDPO is investigating the case. However, no application has been received from the family members yet. Simri Bakhtiyarpur SDPO Mukesh Kumar Thakur said that information has been received from the villagers about the dispute related to buffalo theft. The matter of murder in money transaction is also coming to light. On the basis of suspicion in the case, a person is being detained and interrogated. On receiving the application, further action will be taken by registering an FIR. The murder case will be solved soon.
