A sudden fire broke out in a mobile warehouse in Indralok Nagar of Bypass police station of Patna City late on Saturday night. Gradually the flame engulfed the entire warehouse. The entire warehouse started burning. As soon as information about the fire was received, there was a stampede in the entire area. People came out of their homes and started saving their belongings. People nearby informed the bypass police station as well as the fire brigade vehicle.
Two dozen fire engines arrived
After receiving information about the incident, about two dozen vehicles of fire brigades of Patna City, Danapur, Lodipur, Phulwari Sharif, Kankarbagh, Secretariat police station reached the spot and started controlling the fire. The flame of the fire was so strong that no one had the courage to go near and extinguish the fire. People started throwing water from their homes using pipes to extinguish the fire.
People informed the police when smoke came out
Local people told that late on Saturday night, there is a mobile shop located in Indralok Nagar, from where people saw smoke coming out rapidly. After this an uproar started there. Gradually the smoke took the form of a massive fire and within no time the entire store room started burning. People said that to control the fire, people nearby started throwing water from their houses. Meanwhile, after receiving the information, about two dozen vehicles of the fire brigade reached the spot and started efforts to control the fire.
After hours of hard work the fire could be controlled. However, the police is busy finding out the reason behind the fire. Bypass police station in-charge said that at present no application has been received. The Police is investigating.
