Patna News: On Thursday, a woman gave birth to a child on platform number two of the station premises at Fatuha railway station. The women team of GRP deployed for the safety of passengers at the railway station helped the woman deliver the baby with mutual help.

The woman gave birth to a healthy baby under the supervision of Fatuha Railway Station Incharge Ganori Das. After this, GRP admitted her to Fatuha Community Health Center for treatment with the help of e-rickshaw. Where both the child and the mother are safe. Actually, Railway Station Incharge Ganori Das had received information that a woman is travelling from Khusrupur to Gulzarbagh NMCH Patna with her husband and a child in train number 03267 Qul- Patna MEMU Special train, who is pregnant and the woman is experiencing severe labor pain.
As soon as the information was received, the team of Jyoti Kumari, Ruby Kumari, Manoj Kumar of GRP became alert and contacted the woman as soon as the train stopped. As soon as the woman was contacted to be sent to the hospital, the woman gave birth to a safe baby under the supervision of GRP women staff on platform number 2–3 of Fatuha railway station.
After the birth of the child, when the police asked the woman for her details, she gave her name as Shilpi Kumari, wife of Sudhir Kumar, a resident of Nimtal in Khusrupur police station area. After this, the staff admitted both of them to Fatuha Hospital with the help of an e-rickshaw. Where the woman is undergoing treatment.
