A car and a train collided at an unmanned crossing near Kadouna Halt on the Gaya-Patna railway section in Jehanabad. Four people traveling in the car were injured in this incident. Due to which rail operations on Gaya-Patna railway section were disrupted for half an hour.

Regarding the incident, local people told that the train (number 03270) was going from Gaya to Patna. During this time, as soon as the train reached the halt, a car was crossing the gateless railway crossing. As soon as the car started crossing the railway track, the car suddenly stopped. On one side the car suddenly stopped and on the other side the train reached the pass. Before anyone could do anything, the train hit the car hard, damaging it. Villagers say that four persons were traveling in this car. With the help of the villagers, all the injured people in the car were taken out of the car and admitted to Sadar Hospital and private clinics.

Villagers said this is negligence

Villagers say that this incident was informed to the Railway Department official. As soon as the information was received, Elve officials reached the spot and the railway track started being cleared. Due to this, train operations on the Gaya-Patna railway section were disrupted for half an hour. After reaching the spot, the car was removed from the railway track, train operations were started and the driver fled from the spot. There was no trace of where the people in the car were from. Unmanned crossings are being blocked through JCBs. When asked about this, the railway officer refused to tell anything. Unmanned crossings are being closed continuously by the Railway Department. But even after this, accidents are continuously happening on Patna-Gaya railway section. People say that this incident happened due to negligence.
