A teacher was crushed by a speeding tractor in Begusarai, due to which she died a painful death on the spot. After this incident, there was chaos among the family members. The incident took place near Rampur Chowk in Bakhri police station area. The deceased has been identified as Sarita Devi (44), wife of Anil Verma, a resident of Mohanpur village in Bakhri police station area.

Regarding the incident, local people say that Anil Verma was going to Bakhri market with his wife on his bike. Then his bike collided with a sand laden tractor coming from the opposite direction, due to which Anil fell on the side of the road, while his wife fell on the road. After the incident, the angry people blocked the road by placing the body on the road with bamboo sticks, due to which there was a long queue of small and big vehicles on both sides of the road. On receiving the information of the incident, there was chaos among the family members of the woman. Anil Verma is the brother of BJP District President Rajiv Kumar Verma and the deceased teacher is the sister-in-law of BJP District President. After this incident, the police of Bakhri police station somehow pacified the people and sent the body to Begusarai Sadar Hospital for postmortem and started further action.
