Begusarai police finally arrested the rape accused after 11 years. At the age of 54, he was accused of raping a handicapped person. During this, the girl also became pregnant. The accused also tried to abort the victim but the police saved her. After this, the victim gave birth to a son. After Cheria Bariyarpur police station case number 111/13 was registered against the rape accused, the then Begusarai SP issued an order to arrest him after finding the case true in the investigation. But, the then DIG ordered the arrest after DNA test. After this, the case remained pending for about nine years. During this time, the victim kept waiting for the report. When the DNA report came after nine years, it was said to be ambiguous. That is, the DNA of the child may or may not match with the accused. After this, the court passed an order to get the DNA done from another place.
Sent to jail after court order
Meanwhile, in 2022, the then Manjhaul police station in-charge acquitted the accused from the case and filed a chargesheet in the court, then the case took a new turn. Advocate Prince Rahul argued vigorously in this case. Proving a lot of evidence in the case diary itself, the court was asked to give justice to the victim. The Hon’ble Court also considered this seriously and issued summons against the accused against the above chargesheet. But, he did not appear. After this, the court issued a bailable warrant. Despite this, the accused continued to disobey the court order on the strength of his influence and money. He did not even present his side by appearing in the court. After this, the court issued a non-bailable warrant. Along with this, Manjhaul police station was instructed to arrest him. After this, the accused of sexual exploitation was arrested by Manjhaul police station in-charge Risha Kumari on Wednesday night and sent to jail. A case was registered against the accused under sections 376, 313, 511, 201 and 34 of the IPC.
Even after 11 years, the child is still waiting to know the identity of his father
