During this time, stubble was being burnt in the fields of Loam village of Sadar police station area along NH 27. Seeing this, he called District Agriculture Officer Vipin Bihari Sinha and informed him about stubble burning and directed to take action against the concerned farmers. As soon as the information about the Agriculture Secretary’s arrival in Darbhanga was received, the Agriculture Department’s Deputy Director Sanjaynath Tiwari and all the officials hurriedly reached Loam and informed about the matter. After this, the agricultural registration of accused farmers Kailash Prasad Bairoliya, Rajendra Kumar and Maqsood Alam has been cancelled. After this action there has been a stir among the farmers of the area.

District Agriculture Officer Vipin Bihari Sinha said that agricultural registration of three farmers of Loam village has been cancelled. Now these three farmers will not be able to get the benefit of any government agricultural facility for the next five years. He has appealed to the farmers of the entire district that no farmer should burn the stubble in the fields. If caught burning, action will be taken.
