Asaduddin Owaisi’s party All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has announced to field candidates on fifteen seats including Kishanganj in the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The 15 seats that have been announced include Karakat, Gopalganj, Shivhar, Darbhanga and Valmikinagar. Akhtarul Iman said that Madhubani seat is not clear yet.

Along with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Tejashwi Yadav was also targeted.

Akhtarul Iman, MLA of Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM, said that whether the gourd falls on the knife or the knife falls on the gourd, it is the same thing. Actually his reference was to Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. He said that the real thing is that we have suffered the most from BJP and the hated party, but those people who call themselves secular have also hurt us no less. Still, we want a larger alliance to be formed to stop the NDA, but the larger alliance was punctured by Nitish Kumar. He said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had gone to Purnia in Samadhan Yatra but he did not solve anything there. Solution 0% and went there to make all the points against us.

AIMIM will field candidates on these seats

Akhtarul Iman said that whatever was to happen to us, the oppressors have done everything. Now our people have decided that unless we are in political power, no one will be ready to advocate for us. Therefore, wherever we get an opportunity, we will field our candidate there. While announcing, he said that our party will field its strong candidates in Karakat, Patliputra, Gopalganj, Shivhar and Darbhanga. At present no decision has been taken on Madhubani.
