The martyred soldier Madan Singh was a resident of Sadsa village of Kutumba block of Aurangabad. He was working in the Border Security Force (BSF). The body of the martyred soldier is expected to reach his native village by late Friday evening. There is mourning in the village since the death of the soldier. According to the villagers, the martyred Jawan Madan Singh was the third son of Sadsa village resident Mandev Singh. He was about 40 years old. He breathed his last on Thursday night during treatment after being injured in the encounter. He was posted in Chhattisgarh and during his duty, he had last come to his village on the occasion of Holi.

Martyr Madan Singh was married to Sanju Devi in ​​2001 who lives in his village. He has a son and a daughter. Daughter Siya Nandini is a BA final year student, while son Shivam studies Plus Two in Ranchi. The children are also saddened to hear the news of their father’s martyrdom.
