Mo. From Shahabuddin’s stronghold Siwan, Rashtriya Janata Dal has fielded Awadh Bihari Choudhary from Siwan, ignoring Hina Shahab. Avadh Bihari Chaudhary is the former Speaker of the Assembly as well as the current RJD MLA from Sadar. Avadh Bihari Chaudhary reached Siwan with the ticket. During this time, the workers gave him a grand welcome on the way. At some places he was welcomed by showering flowers from JCB and at some places he was welcomed with great enthusiasm by playing drums and drums.
Hina Shahab had given a statement – I am neutral and not in any party.
Only Shahabuddin family was given ticket from Rashtriya Janata Dal quota in Siwan, but with time everything changed. After the death of Mohammad Shahabuddin, the distance between RJD and Shahabuddin family kept increasing. Because of this increasing distance, Hina Sahab had given a statement that I am neutral and not in any party. As the elections approached, Shahabuddin’s wife also changed many statements. He said that I don’t mind any flag, be it red, yellow, blue or saffron, all colors are ours, all the people are ours. Although there was no reaction from RJD after Heena Shahab’s statement, as soon as the elections were announced, Shahabuddin’s wife Hina Shahab announced to contest the elections as an independent. Some people say that RJD national president Lalu Yadav spoke to Heena on telephone. However, no leader from RJD confirmed this. This was limited to discussion only, but Hina refused to take RJD ticket and decided to contest the elections as an independent.

In Siwan, NDA candidate Vijayalakshmi Kushwaha is contesting from JDU quota. On the other side, there is Awadh Bihari Chaudhary from RJD and independent candidate Hina Shahab. The villagers say that this time there is a triangular fight. There is also discussion that Asaduddin Owaisi’s party AIMIM will support Heena Shahab from outside.
When is the election in Siwan?
Lok Sabha elections 2024 are to be held in a total of 6 phases. Elections are to be held in Siwan in the fifth phase i.e. on 25th and the results will come on 4th June. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, RJD also announced its candidate and has given ticket to Awadh Bihari Chaudhary and fielded him.
