A Bangladeshi family who had come to visit India became a victim of a road accident. A Bangladeshi father and his daughter died in this accident, while the condition of his wife, sister and son is very serious. The deceased have been identified as Sushilchandra Sarkar (50) and his daughter Soochana Sarkar (19). In this incident, his wife Anjana Sarkar (44), deceased’s sister Sapna Sarkar (16) and brother Sanoj Sarkar (13 years) have been injured, who are undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Purnia. The deceased Sushilchandra Sarkar was a teacher.

Regarding the incident, Animesh’s family says that the entire family had come to India from Bangladesh about a week ago. The deceased had come from Bangladesh to the house of sister Sapna Sarkar, living in Nayanagar area of North Dinajpur district of West Bengal, from here they were going to their relative’s house in Vidan Nagar. Meanwhile, the speeding highway went out of control and crushed a Bangladeshi family crossing the road. After the incident, Haiva fled from the spot.
Condition of wife, sister and son critical
Local people informed the local police about the incident. As soon as information about the incident was received, police reached the spot and with the help of local people, admitted the injured to a private hospital located in Purnia Line Market, where the Bangladeshi teacher died during treatment. The condition of three others is very critical. Everyone is being treated in a private hospital in Purnia. Wife, sister and son are fighting a battle between life and death on the ventilator.
Police engaged in investigation
Regarding the incident, Assistant Khazanchihat Police Station Head Shashi Kumar Bhagat said that the father and daughter, victims of a road accident, have been admitted to a private hospital located in Line Bazaar. After the death, the body has been sent to Purnia GMCH for postmortem. He says that the highway from where the incident took place is being searched.
