In broad daylight in Patna, criminals strangled a woman to death with a towel. The incident took place in house number 378 in Nehru Nagar under Pataliputra police station area. The deceased has been identified as Ranjana Kumari, wife of Kumar Chandrashekhar.

Three boys are suspected

Regarding the incident, Patliputra SHO Raj Kishore Kumar says that Ranjana Kumari was the landlady of House Number 378. The incident was reported by the people living nearby. As soon as the information was received, the police of Patliputra police station reached the spot and started investigating. SHO Raj Kishore Kumar said that the people living nearby have told that three boys had come to look for a house to live on rent. A few hours after their departure, the people living nearby came to know that Ranjana Kumari has been murdered. As soon as they got the information, they called the police. At present, the matter is being investigated.

Regarding the incident, Patliputra police station in-charge Raj Kishore Kumar says that the woman’s body was recovered from her room. He said that the woman was murdered by strangulation with a towel. He also said that there is no CCTV in this house, but the CCTVs around this house are being scanned.
