8 people died due to electric shock in Hajipur. The incident took place in Sultanpur of Industrial Police Station area. Villagers say that the DJ came in contact with 11 thousand volt electric wire, due to which eight people died on the spot. Local people say that this death toll may increase.

According to the villagers, the deceased included Ravi Kumar, son of Dharmendra Paswan, Raja Kumar, son of late Lala Das, Naveen Kumar, son of late Fudena Paswan, Amresh Kumar, son of Sanoj Bhagat, Ashok Kumar, son of Mantu Paswan, Kalu Kumar, son of Parmeshwar Paswan, Ashi Kumar, son of Mintu Paswan, and Chandan Kumar, son of Chandeshwar Paswan.

Among those injured by the 11000 volt wire are three people including Umesh Paswan’s son Rajiv Kumar (17). At present, there is chaos in the hospital.

Regarding the incident, the villagers say that the people of Sultanpur were going to Sonpur’s Pahelaja Ghat to collect water while playing DJ together. Everyone was dancing to the music of the DJ. Suddenly the DJ came in contact with 11 thousand volt electricity, due to which eight people got badly burnt and died on the spot. Many people are also injured who are being treated in the hospital.
