The exploits of sand mafia have come to light again. While forcibly taking away sand, Munshi was shot and seriously injured. However, the injured Munshi died during treatment. According to the information received, there was firing on Wednesday evening at the sand ghat of Maruti Trading Company located at Shadipur under Buniyadganj police station of Gaya district, in which the company’s staff got seriously injured by the bullet. He died during treatment. As soon as information about the incident was received, there was chaos in the family. The deceased was identified as Sujay Yadav (30), son of Vasudev Yadav, resident of Shadipur.

It is said that there was an altercation between the sand smuggler and the company staff in the afternoon regarding stopping sand smuggling and then a fight also took place. After this, a group of angry sand smugglers reached the ghat and suddenly started firing. In this regard, eyewitnesses say that the attackers targeted Munshi and fired two bullets one after the other. The bullet hit his neck and chest. As soon as information about this was received, by the time the villagers along with their family members reached the spot, the attackers fled from there. The seriously injured man was immediately taken to Magadh Medical Hospital for treatment. On the condition of anonymity, the villagers said that the company was building a road to the ghat and the smugglers were opposing it. There was an altercation regarding this in the afternoon also. If people are to be believed, many shells have been recovered from the spot. After the incident, an atmosphere of tension has arisen in the village.
As soon as information about the incident was received, SDPO Sunil Kumar Pandey reached the spot with his team. Forensic team is being called to the spot. In this regard, Police Station Head Pawan Kumar said that as soon as information about the incident was received, a police team was sent. The attacker has absconded. The accused has been jailed in the past also in a knife attack case. However, Munshi of Balu Ghat died during treatment.
