The policeman could not recognize the Sadar SDM
In fact, supporters of Bharat Bandh became violent at Dak Bangla crossing. The protesters broke the barricades and tried to move ahead. The police tried to convince them a lot but when the protesters did not listen, they resorted to lathicharge. Here, SDM of Patna’s Sadar IAS Shrikant Kundlik Khandekar along with police officials started to restore law and order. As soon as the lathicharge happened, the protesters started running here and there. The police chased and beat the protesters. Meanwhile, a policeman could not recognize the Sadar SDM and hit him with a lathi. However, the senior officers present there immediately caught the policeman. Giving clarification, the policeman said that he could not recognize SDM sahab. The crowd had become uncontrolled. That is why this happened while swinging the lathi.
