If a teacher is suffering from any serious illness, the teacher is disabled or is suffering from incurable diseases, then the application related to this will be given special priority. Through the transfer posting policy, the way for posting of 1.87 lakh competency passed teachers has also been cleared. In this regard, Principal Secretary of Education Department S Siddharth says that teachers will now be able to teach in schools near their homes only. However, for this they will have to give 10 options. He said that the Education Department can post those teachers anywhere from their options. He said that at present the benefit of transfer posting policy will be available only to competency pass teachers, who are to be posted in the new school.
