National Highway Patrol vehicles have been linked with Dial-112 of the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS). This means that now Dial 112 vehicles will not only patrol the streets of the city but will also patrol the national highways of the state. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inaugurated 38 highway patrol vehicles on Wednesday afternoon from 01 Anne Marg to strengthen road safety and uninterrupted traffic system. On this occasion, the Chief Minister flagged off 38 highway patrol vehicles.

In case of emergency, these vehicles can be sent immediately

The Chief Minister inspected the highway patrol vehicles before their inauguration and took information from the officials regarding their working system. Let us tell you that these National Highway Patrol vehicles have been linked to Dial-112 of the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) so that in case of emergency, these vehicles can be sent to the spot immediately. Also, for effective action, provision has been made for centralized solution from the vehicle or control room through the equipment installed on it.

Keep an eye on those who fled after committing a crime in a district

Many times, after committing a crime, they escape to another district or state via NH. The team of Dial 112 patrolling the highway will also keep an eye on these criminals. Not only this, the team of Dial 112 will keep a close watch on the drivers who cause major accidents. Special equipment installed on the vehicle will also monitor the speed of the vehicles.
