A seven year old innocent child was brutally murdered in Rupauli, Purnia. The brutes first gang-raped the innocent child and then killed him by gouging out his eyes and twisting his throat. There was a sensation when the girl’s body was found in Bahiyar of Chaphari village. As soon as information about the case was received, Rupauli police station reached the spot with his team and took possession of the body and started identifying it. Two suspects are being detained and interrogated by Rupauli police. Police have sent the body for post-mortem and have started investigation.
The girl had gone missing from the corn field
Family members told that the girl had gone with her grandmother to the maize field to harvest stubble. Grandmother left the girl in the field at 10 o’clock and returned home. After that, when the grandmother reached the farm, the girl was missing. After that the family members started searching for the girl. On Friday afternoon, information was received that the body of a girl was lying in a maize field. We identified her as our child. The deceased’s grandfather expressed fear of rape and murder.
Police detained two suspects
After the incident, the grandfather says that the girl was raped by two to three people. After that he strangulated her to death. Two suspects are being detained and interrogated by Rupauli police. One person detained is said to be from Motihari district. Here, Rupauli Police Station Officer Amjad Ali said that two suspects have been detained. He is under interrogation. The help of FSL team has been taken for investigation. Further action is going on in the matter.
