An FIR has been registered against unknown persons in Bhimnagar police station after 72 hours regarding the incident of food poisoning that took place last Sunday in Bihar Special Armed Force 12th Battalion of Bhimnagar situated on Indo Nepal border in Supaul. BSP IG also reached Bhimnagar at around 6 pm on Tuesday evening to investigate the matter. BSP Northern Region DIG Muzaffarpur Safikul Haque, Kosi region DIG Manoj Kumar and Supaul SP Shaishav Yadav were also present with him. BSP IG stayed in the training camp for about one and a half hours. After this, he left for night rest in Water Resources Department Guest House located in Veerpur. In this regard, Supaul SP Shaishav Yadav said that the situation in the camp is completely normal. An FIR has been registered in Bhimnagar police station regarding the incident. The FSL team has taken samples of oil, masala and vomit for investigation. Action will be ensured according to whatever facts come out in the police investigation. SP said that BSP IG also talked to the trainee soldiers. Necessary steps are being taken to solve their problems. Currently, 965 soldiers from 8 different companies are undergoing training in the camp. After completion of the training, the soldiers will become SIs.

C Company’s Sepoy Avdhesh Kumar picked up the bundle and gave it to Havildar Major Umesh Kumar Singh. Shortly after this, Sepoy Radheshyam started vomiting. After his health deteriorated, he was admitted to LN Subdivisional Hospital Veerpur for primary treatment. The health of the soldiers kept deteriorating. A total of 265 soldiers were registered and treated at Subdivisional Hospital Veerpur. At that time, when the condition of the trainee soldiers became normal, 265 soldiers admitted in the hospital were discharged. On Monday, 935 soldiers sat on a hunger strike in the parade ground. During this, DIG Safikul Haq reached the camp to investigate the matter. Here he heard the problems of the trainee soldiers. On the assurance of quick solution of the problems, the hunger strike of the soldiers ended after 8 hours at 4 pm.

Bhimnagar police station police engaged in investigation

In this regard, Bhimnagar Police Station Head Deepak Kumar said that in the light of the application received from the training in-charge, police case number 38/24 has been registered. The suspicious substance seized by the FSL team is being presented in the court and permission for investigation is being taken. Investigation has also been started on other points. Further action will be taken on the basis of facts revealed during the investigation.
