A case of major fraud has come to light in Darbhanga Medical College Hospital. The miscreants were committing fraud in the name of DMCH Superintendent. Miscreants have forged the name of DMCH Superintendent and the reinstatement list of data operator is going viral. Names of forty candidates are mentioned in this list. The candidates involved claim that a demand of Rs 1.5 lakh is being made for the reinstatement of the data operator. The surprising thing is that not a single candidate from Darbhanga district is included in the list brought out for reinstatement in the name of DMCH Superintendent. Also, this restoration is being done for the data operator for block level hospitals except DMCH. As soon as this letter was received, DMCH Superintendent Dr. Alka Jha gave the list to Darbhanga Police and asked them to take action.

DMCH Superintendent’s letter pad was used

It is being told that the miscreants have used the letter pad of the DMCH Superintendent. A demand of Rs 1.5 lakh each was being made from the applicants in exchange for the job. People would have got caught in this web of fraud before the DMCH administration got information about it. After this, Superintendent Dr. Alka Jha has informed the police about this. Here, some people are also connecting the matter with the white collars of DMCH Superintendent’s office. Many employees of the Superintendent’s office are making illegal extortion in the name of jobs, transfer-posting, tender management etc.

There was panic as soon as this viral letter was received

Some time back a similar case had come up in DMCH. In this, a woman from Saidnagar of Laheriyasarai police station area was also cheated of seven thousand rupees in the name of filling the data operator job form. Even after this matter came to light, there was panic among the staff and officials in the hospital. But, after a few days the matter was calmed down. Now, as soon as another case has come to light, once again this viral letter has created panic in the hospital. Hospital Superintendent Dr. Alka Jha said that this letter is completely fake. As soon as the letter came to light, I appealed to Darbhanga Police to investigate and take action.
