The body of a 6-year-old child, who was missing for three days, was recovered from a corn field in Samastipur. The incident took place in Chandauli village of Tajpur police station area. The child has been identified as Arvind Kumar, son of Parvinder Ram. On receiving information about the incident, the local police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
Was missing from the wedding ceremony
Regarding the incident, the father of the deceased told that there was a wedding next to his house on April 25, in which his son had gone. He was seen till the time of Jayamala. After that he suddenly disappeared. The family members searched extensively but could not find any trace of him. After this, on April 26, information about the incident was given to Tajpur Police. Tajpur police registered a FIR in this case.
Child’s body found in field after three days
Regarding the incident, local people said that when people went to the fields on Saturday, they saw Arvind’s dead body in the corn field and informed the family members. As soon as the information about the dead body was received, there was chaos among the family members. Police say that looking at the body it seems that he was murdered about two days ago. Police have seized the body and sent it to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem.
Police engaged in investigation
Regarding the incident, Tajpur police station incharge Sunny Kumar Mausam said that as soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and the body has been sent to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. Tajpur police station incharge Sunny Kumar Mausam said that what could be the reason for kidnapping and then murder of the child is not clear at the moment. The police is investigating the entire matter.
