On Monday morning, a child prisoner admitted in Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital died during treatment. On getting the news of the child prisoner’s death, the family members reached the hospital and created a ruckus by alleging negligence in treatment.

They are demanding action against the policemen

Chandu Paswan, brother of the deceased juvenile prisoner, said that he was admitted to the hospital from the remand home under the protection of two policemen. We had requested that he be admitted to a private hospital for treatment. But the policemen did not listen to us. We suspected that he would die due to lack of treatment. And that is what happened today. The angry family is demanding action against the guilty policemen. They are also adamant on demanding a CBI inquiry. However, the police of the local police station calmed down the uproar by assuring the people.

The treatment was going on for three days

In this regard, remand home officer Lavlesh Singh said that the juvenile prisoner was ill for the last three days. He already had a complaint of water in his lungs. As soon as the complaint of the juvenile prisoner’s illness was received, the juvenile prisoner was admitted to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital for better treatment. Where he was undergoing treatment for three days. This morning, it was reported that the juvenile prisoner died during treatment. He said that the juvenile prisoner was a resident of Manpur Mohalla under Mufassil police station of Gaya city. He was lodged in remand home under Arms Act.
