On Wednesday, Chirag Paswan spoke to the media in Delhi on the possible clash with Chacha Paras in Hajipur. He said that he is ready for challenges. Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan said that after the meeting of the Central Parliamentary Board (of the party), we will leave for Bihar. In the coming days, we are moving towards a bigger battle. Our target is to win more than 400 seats. It is our belief that we will win under the leadership of PM Modi. On the question of the candidates, Chirag Paswan said that the names of the candidates are under discussion. Some names have been suggested by our parliamentary board and have been discussed. Candidates for all five seats will be announced within the next four to five days.
I am going to contest elections myself from Hajipur seat.
On the question of contesting elections from Hajipur seat, Chirag Paswan said that this agreement has definitely been reached. Even today, Hajipur seat has been formally approved in the Parliamentary Board meeting. Hajipur has been my father’s workplace. From there, I myself am going to contest the elections as an NDA candidate and as a Lok Janshakti Party candidate. When asked about Pashupati Kumar Paras’s statement of contesting elections from Hajipur, Chirag Paswan said that there is no problem in it. I have never been afraid of challenges. I have always faced challenges bravely. That’s why I stand here today. After the departure of my leader (Ram Vilas Paswan), an attempt was made to eliminate me, but I did not bow down. Now I am ready for every challenge. The public is with me. Chacha ji has always been saying that he will remain with PM Modi in politics till his last breath and will remain in NDA. In such a situation, will he himself become an obstacle in the way of PM Modi’s target of 400 seats? This decision has to be taken by them. The decision to separate from the family was his (Pashupati Paras). Even today if he comes along, the decision will be his.
