An FIR was lodged against the brother of the deceased regarding this matter. In the FIR registered, it was said that on the night of October 15, after receiving a call from someone on Manish’s mobile, he had left the house on a bike. When he did not return till morning and his mobile was found switched off. After a lot of searching, the family members lodged an FIR in the police station. When his body was found floating in the pond two days after he went missing, he was identified by his clothes. Because the killers had found serious wound marks on his face. Whereas the deceased’s bike was recovered about 500 meters away from the place where the body was found.

In this regard, Kamtaul DSP Jyoti Kumari said that the textile businessman murder case has been investigated. The accused in this case, Anand Mandal, has been arrested. He told during interrogation that he had seen the deceased in an objectionable position with his sister. Because of this, he along with his brother carried out the incident.
