On Friday, 12 ministers of Bharatiya Janata Party and nine ministers of Janata Dal United took oath. With this, the number of ministers in Bihar including the Chief Minister increased to 30.

With the addition of BJP’s Renu Devi and JDU’s Leshi Singh and Sheela Mandal, the number of women in this cabinet became three. At the time of government formation, no woman had taken oath as a minister.
