In Madhepura, criminals shot and injured the son of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s party (JDU) leader. The incident took place in Itwa Jivchhapur village of Gamharia police station area. The injured youth is undergoing treatment at Jannayak Karpuri Thakur Medical College Hospital. There was panic in the area after the incident. There was a crowd of people nearby. Here, as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating.
Was returning home while talking on mobile
It is being told that Deepak Kumar (23), resident of Itwa village Ward-3 of Gamharia police station area and son of Janata Dal United District Vice President Karmlal Mehta, was shot at. Family members told that late on Sunday night, Deepak was going from home towards Western Canal while talking on mobile. As soon as they reached near the canal, an attempt was made to snatch the mobile by four unknown criminals riding on two bikes from behind.
Shot from behind for protesting against snatching
When she protested against snatching, the criminals shot her from behind. The bullet hit the young man between his thigh and waist. The young man was seriously injured by the bullet. Nearby people reached the spot, from where the injured was admitted to Madhepura Medical College for treatment. Gamharia Police Station Head Vikas Kumar said that the youth was shot by criminals. The injured youth is undergoing treatment in the medical college. Police are conducting raids to arrest the criminals.
